Rampage Jackson says that testosterone has increased his bodyweight and muscle mass and improved his sexual life

The mixed martial artist and actor Quinton “Rampage” Jackson told about benefits of testosterone in the interview with Gary Alexander of “Fighters Only Magazine”. He talked about his decision to apply testosterone, about its effects on increase of muscle mass, weight of the body and his sexuality. He pronounced these words after his fail at UFC 144 in Japan.
Rampage Jackson was honestly talking about his decision to find a doctor that could prescribe him testosterone replacement therapy. He said openly because he believed that testosterone didn’t include in anabolic steroids. The UFC champion noticed that steroids were for muscles but testosterone was natural. Thus, he was mistaken, considering that testosterone isn’t an anabolic steroid.
Actually, application of testosterone replacement therapy in mixed martial arts is a debated question. Testosterone is used legally in case of hypogonadism (reduced testosterone secretion). So, mixed martial artists who suffer from this illness may receive a therapeutic use exemption that permits to use the steroid testosterone legally.
But the issue that is widely discussed is whether the sportsperson who utilizes therapeutic measure of testosterone can get unfair advantage during competitions.
The most of sportspersons that have received a therapeutic use exemption for intake of testosterone for clinical needs deny getting any increase of performance because of testosterone replacement therapy.
When it comes to Rampage Jackson, he stated that testosterone replacement therapy had increased his muscle size, speeded his recovery from his injuries and influenced positively on his sexual life. The mixed martial artist confirmed that he had had a knee injury. After he had administered three measures of testosterone, the knee was healed. He gained bodyweight and muscle size. This mixed martial artist noticed that small doses of the steroid testosterone had led to obvious changes in him. His sexuality was improved significantly; he started to feel as if he had been only 25.
Rampage Jackson demonized steroids for his impossibility to lose weight to meet criteria of the 206lb weight category.
Jackson claims that he doesn’t break any rule. He administeres testosterone and confirms that it is legitimately.
He claims that he is glad that he takes testosterone.
