Each bodybuilder dreams that he/she will get great results one day

Bodybuilding is not included in glamorous sports. Any bodybuilder can support this statement. People who are involved in bodybuilding spend much time at gyms, training; they prepare appropriate food and make continuous researches. What is this work done for? – Just for 30 seconds on stage. Of course, if bodybuilders reach high results, they receive awards, fame, and admiration of others. Their pictures are posted on covers of fit magazines. They become well-known.
Unfortunately, the most of bodybuilders never achieve this level because it is required much work and money for this goal. But any bodybuilder dreams about this level: to be a top bodybuilder, to get money and other prizes. If you have any interest to learn what is needed for success in bodybuilding, you may look at Jay Cutler and several other individuals. You may also learn role of steroids for achievement of success in bodybuilding.
Jay Cutler is one of the most well-known bodybuilders in history. Furthermore, he has obtained Mr. Olympia titles 4 times. This person spends much time for sports. He notes that he doesn’t make plans. He eats around the clock. Jay Cutler consumes 4, 000 – 7, 000 calories per day. Chicken breasts are at the center of his much food.
It is interesting to note that Jay Cutler spends more time for eating than for workouts. He lifts for circa two hours and gets cardio an hour daily. Jay Cutler states that his day differs essentially from thoughts of people about it. Those that are not involved in bodybuilding suppose that bodybuilders train 8 hours daily. They think that if they take steroids, they will have the same appearance like professional bodybuilders.
Jay Cutler notes that steroids are not everything in bodybuilding but they play a great role in it. He confirms that if anyone wants to achieve great success in sports, he/she should use steroids. Ron Stevens, who is in the sport 15 years, supports the affirmation of Jay Cutler about steroids. He adds that it is not possible to compete without usage of these products. After several shows Ron Stevens made the decision to use steroids.
Stevens is as dedicated to bodybuilding as Jay Cutler. He eats much food which could be enough for a family of five members.
The most of bodybuilders haven’t got great supplement contracts. They don’t have sufficient money to support their efforts and obtain titles of Mr. Olympia.
In fact, the most of dedicated bodybuilders have regular jobs and hope that they will achieve great success one day.
As for Jay Cutler, he had two jobs. This bodybuilder worked and spent each dollar he received for bodybuilding. Finally, he achieved great success. His every effort was paid off.
Thinking over Jay Cutler, any bodybuilder may be encouraged in hopes that he will succeed greatly one day. Unknown bodybuilders can dream at least.

Did the NFL violate any law, suspending those who didn’t test positive for forbidden medications?

The National Football League suspended D. J. Williams, a linebacker, and Ryan McBean, a defensive lineman, of the team Denver Broncos for violation of steroid policy. These players were suspended from 6 games. But they were not banned for usage of steroids. They didn’t test positive for steroids or other controlled substances. They were accused in providing “non-human” urine samples to the officer of drug testing.
D. J. William claimed that he had never tested for any banned preparation during 8 years of his career. He added that he was proud of his records. He noted that he was also proud of his manner in that he conducted himself, being a sportsman.
The attorney for McBean, Peter Shaffer, confirmed that the NFL had violated rights of the defensive lineman. He mentioned that since McBean had never tested positive for any forbidden drug, the NFL didn’t have any right to sentenced him to ban.
Peter Schaffer claimed that he intended to make it clear that neither D. J. Williams, nor Ryan McBean tested positive for prohibited preparations.
A lawsuit was filed in Denver County Court against suspensions of these players of the NFL.
The players confirmed that the drug testing officer had violated certain rules connected with the procedure of collecting urine samples.
Schaffer noticed that several similarities had been between his client and Ryan Braun. Braun won his appeal connected with his suspension from 50 games for administration of testosterone. Ryan Braun could prove that Dino Laurenzi, the drug testing officer, violated steroid policy.
As for Laurenzi, he was defended and supported by different anti-doping agencies. The WADA also supported Dino Laurenzi. It was confirmed that there was the same procedure of collecting and sending urine samples not only for the MLB but also for the WADA.
But as for the drug testing officer that collected samples of Williams and McBean, another attitude was displayed to him. He was fired by the NFL for incorrect doing his duty.
At the hearing the NFL administrators acknowledged that the drug testing officer violated the rules linked with collection of urine samples.
Nonetheless, the appeal on behalf of the players was rejected.

Patrick Arnold was bothered by his uninteresting and low-paying job and decided to start producing steroids

No one from New Jersey desires to be involved in a low-paying job that is linked with manufacture of chemicals which are applied in shampoos and hair gels. Let tell you what has happened in this state in 1994.
Patrick Arnold, a guy that was 24 years old, was alone in a room. He was mixing different special thickeners to increase viscosity of some solutions. He was doing this job a lot of time. Thus, he had sufficient time to meditate about his life, condemning it. This young man was unhappy that the job was bothering and nothing interesting happened. But there was no any other place to go.
Although his future was before him, several months passed before he saw the way.
Patrick Arnold was a glowing weightlifter. But he has discontinued much time ago to put his efforts to become bigger. Nevertheless, day by day after his job he went to a gym where he had trainings and talked with other sportspersons. Their discussions were often linked with anabolic steroids. Arnold had specialized in chemistry at the University of New Haven. That’s why  the conversions connected with steroids led him to meditations.
One day after this guy had stirred thickeners he went to the chemistry library and looked at molecular structures of the steroids which were presented in some fitness magazines. Anabolic steroids had been already announced to be prohibited drugs. But there was still enough information about these medications.
Staring at molecular structures of steroids, Patrick Arnold was pondering why he was doing that uninteresting job. This young man thought that it would be much better for him to try producing steroids himself. He ordered several chemicals through the company. It was required to have them for manufacture of steroids. Nobody knew what he intended to do.
At the beginning Arnold endured some troubles. He didn’t obtain success at once. For example, he wanted to make a drug that had to possess a crystalline structure. But it turned out to be that he got sticky oil. He understood that it meant that potentially toxic impurities and substrates were not disunited from the brew. Step by step he became more experienced. He began to use solvents in order to wash impurities and substrates away. He could produce wanted medicines. Their crystalline structures manifested that they were purified.

Even Steven Kettman is against Jose Canseco

Jose Canseco, a former professional baseball player, was considered to be one of the most scorned individuals in steroid era of baseball. He was pushed out professional baseball after he had named several celebrated baseball players as steroid users in the book “Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant ‘Roids, Smash Hits and How Baseball Got Big”.
Everyone is against Jose Canseco. It is stated that if anyone supported him, it would be Steven Kettman. This individual has been a co-author in writing the book of Canseco “Juiced”. But Kettman didn’t support Jose Canseco. Moreover, he was on the opposite side. Being a guest of the Huffington Post, Kettman pronounced some ridiculous words about Canseco’s recent incident linked with anabolic steroids.
Jose Canseco wants to come back to playing baseball professionally. He has been invited to play for the “Tigres de Quintana Roo” of Cancun. This team is a part of the Mexican Baseball League. Playing for this team would be the following stop of Canseco for returning to the MLB.
But his return to professional baseball has turned to be unsuccessful due to administration of Testosterone Cypionate and Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG)  for testosterone replacement therapy. A lot of pieces of news report that Jose Canseco has tested positive for steroids and has been banned for usage of steroids. But it isn’t true. Jose Canseco has claimed that he has just needed to present some documents that have supported his clinical need to be on TRT in order to be in Mexican Baseball League.
Kettman doesn’t believe that the story about TRT is true. He says that Jose Canseco must stop humiliating himself. This writer notes that Jose Canseco has to stop acting so, as if he were a cartoon character.
Kettman didn’t make any distinction between clinical Canseco’s need to apply steroids for TRT and those who administer prohibited substances for performance-enhancing effects.   Steven Kettman states that Jose Canseco continues to use banned preparations in order to promote enhancing performance.
Kettman has tried to disparage several myths linked with steroids in the book “Juiced”. The book supports intake of steroids for medical needs and promotes usage of these preparations for hormone replacement therapy in elder individuals.
It is said that the most controversial words of the book are those where authors identify names of Mark McGwire, Juan Gonzalez, Rafael Palmeiro, Ivan Rodriguez, and Jason Giambi, claiming that these players of professional baseball win due to intake of steroids.
Not only Kettman has distanced himself from the book “Juiced”. Canseco has also stated that he has nightmares about steroids since writing the book and that he regrets that he has identified these baseball players. Jose Canseco asked some of them for apologizing.
ESPN sportswriters criticize the former professional baseball player for intentions to distance himself from the own bestseller.

Rampage Jackson says that testosterone has increased his bodyweight and muscle mass and improved his sexual life

The mixed martial artist and actor Quinton “Rampage” Jackson told about benefits of testosterone in the interview with Gary Alexander of “Fighters Only Magazine”. He talked about his decision to apply testosterone, about its effects on increase of muscle mass, weight of the body and his sexuality. He pronounced these words after his fail at UFC 144 in Japan.
Rampage Jackson was honestly talking about his decision to find a doctor that could prescribe him testosterone replacement therapy. He said openly because he believed that testosterone didn’t include in anabolic steroids. The UFC champion noticed that steroids were for muscles but testosterone was natural. Thus, he was mistaken, considering that testosterone isn’t an anabolic steroid.
Actually, application of testosterone replacement therapy in mixed martial arts is a debated question. Testosterone is used legally in case of hypogonadism (reduced testosterone secretion). So, mixed martial artists who suffer from this illness may receive a therapeutic use exemption that permits to use the steroid testosterone legally.
But the issue that is widely discussed is whether the sportsperson who utilizes therapeutic measure of testosterone can get unfair advantage during competitions.
The most of sportspersons that have received a therapeutic use exemption for intake of testosterone for clinical needs deny getting any increase of performance because of testosterone replacement therapy.
When it comes to Rampage Jackson, he stated that testosterone replacement therapy had increased his muscle size, speeded his recovery from his injuries and influenced positively on his sexual life. The mixed martial artist confirmed that he had had a knee injury. After he had administered three measures of testosterone, the knee was healed. He gained bodyweight and muscle size. This mixed martial artist noticed that small doses of the steroid testosterone had led to obvious changes in him. His sexuality was improved significantly; he started to feel as if he had been only 25.
Rampage Jackson demonized steroids for his impossibility to lose weight to meet criteria of the 206lb weight category.
Jackson claims that he doesn’t break any rule. He administeres testosterone and confirms that it is legitimately.
He claims that he is glad that he takes testosterone.

Do high dosages of inhaled steroids increase benefits for persons with asthma exacerbation?

Inhaled steroids are frequently indicated to cure persons with early asthma complications.
According to several recent researches, one may enhance the normal dosage of inhaled steroids by 8 times, but benefits will be not enhanced in such situation. Ejaz Yousef, a doctor that has been involved in these researches, claims that if a health care provider sees that medical position of a person worsens, he/she can recommend applying oral steroids instead of enhancing the dose of inhaled steroids. Enhancing the dose of inhaled corticosteroids is not without any unwanted effect. This aspect causes various adverse results. For example, the hypothalamic-pituitary adrenal axis may be suppressed in such situation.
Administration of inhaled corticosteroids was considered to be alternative treatment to using oral medicines. It was in 1997. It was fixed to indicate inhaled steroids as alternatives of oral products which are utilizable for individuals with asthma complications.
Then, several studies have shown that application of enhanced doses of inhaled corticosteroids systematically doesn’t increase benefits.
Yousef and his colleagues have conducted a research that implicated almost 200 kids of 2-17 years. These kids were given inhaled corticosteroids during 3 months. They were chosen randomly for treatment for a period of 12 days. Any kid that experienced asthma exacerbation was given inhaled corticosteroids. Then the results were evaluated by the physicians.
No any kid that smoked, had symptoms of chronic asthma or lung pathology was implicated in the study.
Patients had to let know about their side effects via telephone within 72 hours. So, it was reported about cough during nighttime, wheeze, shortness of breath and intolerance when it comes to exercises. Each effect was evaluated according to a score that was ranged from 0 to 4. 0 meant no any sigh; 4 meant the most increased severity level.
Only four children out of 82 the children that were given high doses of inhaled corticosteroids had to use systemic corticosteroids. 2 of them were given doubled doses; others 2 were administering the dosage which was more increased by 8 times than a typical one.
According to the results of the study, effectiveness of the medications, placebo effect, supervision of experts and treatment of persons during early stages of asthma complications were responsible for obtaining positive results.
This as well as other studies display that not each story about steroids is connected with abuse and administration of them for performance-enhancing effects. Steroids are utilizable for numerous medical purposes.

Risk of cataract in children with asthma that are treated with the steroid budesonide is 5 %

Although there are a lot of steroids which cause serious negative results, there are also such steroids that cause positive effects for our health. Some latest studies related to the inhaled corticosteroid budesonide have given to our society certain hope. This medicine has been taken many times to cure children who experience asthma. It has been believed that this medication caused cataract in kids that used it. But the recent researches have demonstrated that the possibility connected with this unwanted effect is very reduced.
Several specialists at the University of Southern Denmark in Holding have made a study to determine reality of occurring cataract in the children that were cured with budesonide. There was no any cataract in 148 patients that were given this inhaled steroid. Among those who didn’t suffer from asthma and were not cured with budesonide 2 individuals had cataract. It was stated by the pediatric professor Soren Pedersen from the University of the Southern Denmark in Kolding. This statement was made during a meeting of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology in San Francisco. Soren Pedersen noticed that when it came to cataract, there was no any difference between those that took budesonide and those who didn’t take it.
The doctor Soren Pederson and his colleagues have treated numerous persons that had asthma with budesonide during over 2 decades. There was no any indication that this corticosteroid could cause any serious adverse result. Children that were given budesonide didn’t experience any growth problems.
In the latest study 270 children suffering from asthma were given budesonide; 62 kids didn’t take budesonide because their parents feared of the results. Parents of those to whom budesonide was given said that no any serious side reaction was observed in their children. 30 of those 62 children that applied budesonide felt benefits in the treatment of asthma.
The specialists have determined that the risk of cataract for those that treat asthma with the steroid budesonide was 5 %.
Soren Pedersen noted that there was no any cataract or another unwanted effect linked with vision during over 15 years of his practice of treating kids with the inhaled steroid budesonide.
Hyun Don Yun, MD, a resident in allergy and immunology at Harbor Hospital in Baltimore, has reported that these aspects have shown that even long-time treatment with the inhaled steroid budesonide doesn’t cause any unwanted consequence connected with ocular system.
According to some other researches, inhaled steroids have other influence on our body in comparison with effects of other steroids.
It is important to conclude that there are steroids that may benefit instead of causing dangerous undesirable reactions. It is impossible to contest benefits of some steroids.

The MLB wants to nip doping in the bud

The Major League Baseball put efforts to prevent usage of steroids. It desires to nip doping in the bud. Then it will be capable to achieve the big show. One of the locations where the efforts of the MLB are applied and clearly seen is the Dominican Republic.
Those that live in the Dominican Republic desire to play professional baseball in the U. S. This is not only a dream. This desire becomes real. Thus, the whole family changes the location where the family lives. Unfortunately, many persons are lured to administrate steroids and other related drugs which increase performance to reach their goal.
The Dominican Republic is a country in which numerous individuals take steroids and other medicines that promote performance. That’s why a sportsperson from this location is asked whether he has applied steroids or other related medications. Undoubtedly, this person claims that he has never doped because tests are performed and everybody is afraid to be caught using any controlled substance.
The MLB subjects to tests athletes from the Dominican Republic. Thus, one year 13 persons out of 40 tested amateur sportspersons from this location tested positive. The MLB plans to tests Dominicans and to punish those that dope.
It is reported that the number of Dominicans that are sent to the MLB is essentially higher than the number of players that are sent from all countries of the Latin America.
The MLB tries to push steroids out of baseball. Amateur players are taught about dangers for their health associated with steroids. They are educated about undesirable results that can be provoked by steroids.
The financial position of the Dominican Republic is a significant problem in this case. The average wage is about 8, 5000 dollars per year there. To receive a signing bonus of 180, 000 dollars is a true achievement for any player from this Republic. That’s why athletes from the Dominican Republic are especially lured to dope for such perspectives. They want to get a contract for playing professional baseball in the MLB. They try to get it for well-being of their families and for improvement quality of life in future. Getting a contract means moving from a rented small house to a private home, from poverty to normal life, from travelling by bus to driving own car.
In fact, usage of steroids is not a problem only in the Dominican Republic. It is a problem which destroys the whole world. No one sportsperson may be sure whether he competes against an individual who has natural skills and talents or against a person that takes steroids and other related preparations. That’s why it is important to nip administration of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs in the bud.
Youth should be taught about risks connected with doping not only in the Dominican Republic or only in the U. S. but everywhere.

It was believed that Lance Armstrong established a doping program

The case against Lance Armstrong related to doping is proclaimed to be closed. This person remains to be considered a champion that won at the Tour de France 7 times.
It is known that federal prosecutors put efforts to determine whether this cyclist and his teammates have participated in a doping program. The investigation has lasted approximately 2 years.
Lance Armstrong denied that he has administrated banned medicines. The accusations against Lance Armstrong threatened not only to his athletic career but also to his Foundation of cancer research and support. The efforts to prove that this athlete administrated steroids were in vain.
Lance Armstrong noted that he had heard that the US Attorney’s Office made a decision to close the investigation. He confirmed that it was a right decision. Armstrong added that he was waiting to continue his usual life, being a father, a competitor and an advocate in the fight against cancer.
The attorney Andre Birotte proclaimed during a press conference that the US Attorney’s Office closed the investigation related to the case of Lance Armstrong. This person didn’t mention about any reason of this decision. But he indicated that come previous similar investigations were also closed.
For example, the case linked with Barry Bonds was claimed to be less-than-successful. Prosecutors were not able to prove that this sportsperson had cheated about usage of steroids. As for the case linked with Roger Clemens, the trial was indicated for another time because the judge announced about previous mistrial.
Investigators thought that a doping program was established by Armstrong’s team. They wanted to define whether it was so as they thought. Authorities investigated whether Lance Armstrong encouraged or promoted doping.
In fact, prosecutors put efforts to determine whether Armstrong and his team broke federal conspiracy and fraud charges. While Barry Bonds testified before a federal grand jury and Clemens testified before Congress, Armstrong was not forced to present before a grand jury. Barry Bonds and Clemens were accused in lying under oath.
The former Armstrong’s teammate Frank and her wife Betsy Andreu charged Armstrong with intake of performance-enhancing drugs. They confirmed that they were shocked by the decision to close the investigation. They concluded that such situations happened due to power of money.

Ryan Braun decided to fight against the results of his test

Although Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers faces a suspension for usage of anabolic steroids, he accepted his Most Valuable Player Award at the dinner of Baseball Writers Association. This player didn’t acknowledge to intake of prohibited medicines. He said that he had become a victim of a false positive. Ryan Braun fights against the results that have been proclaimed.
Altough it has been lately discussed whether steroid users have right to be voted for Baseball’s Hall of Fame, they don’t lose their Most Valuable Player awards. Even admitted steroid users don’t forfeit their MVP awards.
Jack O’Connell proclaimed that Ryan Braun would be permitted to keep the MVP awards. Earlier other consumers of steroids were permitted also to keep their MVP awards. For example, Ken Caminity kept his 1996 MVP award; Alex Rodriquez kept his 2003 MVP award. Both these athletes acknowledged that they had administrated steroids.
According to testosterone: epitestosterone (T: E) ratio, Braun had increased level of testosterone in October 2011. The T: E ratio has manifested about exogenous type of testosterone. Actually, this test can’t show real quantity of used testosterone.
Another method of testing was used by the World Anti-Doping Agency accredited lab in Montreal to confirm the analysis of the T: E ratio testing. It was applied carbon isotope ratio testing that indicated about existence of exogenous testosterone.
A lot of sportswriters considered that Ryan Braun should have left his MVP awards due to the positives for prohibited medications. But this person made another decision. Ryan Braun decided to accept the awards and address with the speech about false accusations in usage of steroids. This player noted that characters of individuals are revealed in such situations of adversary. This baseball player confirmed that he had a great respect to baseball. This player added that he made a lot for his career in this sport but he had done everything with respect and appreciation towards baseball.
It was said that Ryan Braun had been one of the youngest players of the Major League Baseball that didn’t need to use steroids to be able to play. When this person found out about positive of Alex Rodriquez for steroids, he was very surprised. He noted that Alex Rodriquez should have been enough honest to say about intake of forbidden medications.
Ryan Braun decided to fight against the results of his tests, claiming that unusual circumstances surrounded this case. He said that he would display his innocence and false positives.

King Mo Lawal is suspended

Quinton Rampage Jackson and King Mo Lawal don’t have good relations. They didn’t manifest their dislike to each other for certain years. During an interview Lawal said about their relationships, mentioning that he doesn’t have good opinion about Rampage Jackson that also doesn’t like him.
That’s why it is not surprisingly at all that Rampage Jackson expressed his thoughts about the fact related to Lawal’s positive for drostanolone (Masterone).
Jackson said that it was quite evident that King Mo Lawal had administrated steroids. He pointed out that Lawal wasn’t a true fighter. He took steroids to have ability to fight.
Rampage Jackson said that there were fighters that were permitted to take steroids. He referred to those who had to take steroids for testosterone replacement therapy. This fighter said that it was an essential difference between purposes. Fighters and other athletes are permitted to take steroids for TRT and not for enhancement of performance, according to this mixed martial artist.
This fighter says that there are individuals who experience certain health troubles. They talk to their physicians who prescribe steroids. They use these products to to escape from their diseases and to stay competitive. But he adds that there are fighters that administrate steroids to enhance their performance. It is quite sadly, according to this person.
Nevertheless, administration of steroids for hormone replacement therapy by sportspersons is a quite controversial question.
Such fighters, as Dennis Hallman, Chael Sonnen, Nate Marquardt and Dan Henderson acknowledged that they had used steroids because of hypogonadism.
So, Rampage Jackson is a fighter who confirmed about permission to administrate steroids as a part of TRT by athletes. But there are other fighters who do not agree with this opinion. A lot of athletes have the same point of view as Michael Bisping has. They think that steroid use is just justified by medical conditions. They believe that all fighters who apply anabolic steroids, noting that they are on TRT, are cheaters.
Lawal confirms that he is not guilty, claiming that his manager has heard nothing about the steroid Masterone. Both Lawal and his manager claim that they are actually surprised by the results of the test.
A fight between Jackson and Lawal was waiting by many fans. There were several rumors that they would fight in February, 2012. But the hopes of fans were not justified. Lawal should serve a ban.

Tom Verducci gives explanations about his vote for an admitted steroid user

Tom Verducci of Sports Illustrated says about debates related to rughts of steroid users to be voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. But as it commonly happens, this explanation shows just confusion of writers about steroids.
The Baseball Writers Association of America (BWAA) is a professional association of baseball reporters who chose players for the National Baseball Hall of Fame. All reporters that are members of the BWAA already not less than 10 years have opportunity to vote for up to 10 players for the Hall of Fame.
Recently it was a debate between members of the BWAA. They discussed whether admitted or just suspected consumers of steroids and other forbidden preparations might entry into Cooperstown.
Members of the BWAA usually must comment their votes: they should explain why they have voted pro or contra certain questions. Some of them claim that doping destroys the integrity of sports and usage of banned products is frequently claimed by them to be immoral.
As for Tom Verducci, he doesn’t think that usage of steroids is necessarily a moral question. This writer says that steroids help consumers to take unfair advantage over those who don’t administrate prohibited medications. According to this writer, performance-enhancing drugs make competitions unfair. Thus, intake of banned medicines promotes unfairness in sports. That’s why Verducci denies any link between doping and morality. This sportswriter claims that it is a question that is linked with performance but not to morality. So, Verducci suggests that steroid users should not be allowed to be in the Hall of Fame. But he has voted for the admitted steroid user Jeff Bagwell. This sportsperson has acknowledged that he had taken androstenedione. It is necessary to note that this medication was not classified as an anabolic steroid, when Bagwell used it. According to the Control Act 2004, it is enumerated among forbidden products. Since it wasn’t legally considered to be a steroid, Verducci decided to vote for the consumer of this medication; however, it was always claimed to be an anabolic-androgenic steroid by scientists. Furthermore, it was said that Bagwell just became bigger but didn’t induce his performance due to intake of androstenedione.
Nevertheless, the decision of Verducci to vote for the admitted consumer of the steroid is quite controversial. The following question appears: “Maybe Verducci is not against usage of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs by sportspersons?” Since Verducci doesn’t agree that doping is a moral question, he may suggest that increase of performance is not a real problem.
Numerous people suppose that intake of steroids represents evil because they are illegal.

Travis Tygart claims that steroid testing of the UFC is not appropriate

The president of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Dana White put efforts to defend the drug-testing program of this organization. According to the UFC, their most advanced testing program for steroids is in North America. Is it actually true? Sometimes it seems that only fool athletes are caught administrating forbidden medicines by the UFC.
There are several organizations that criticize the drug-testing program of the UFC harshly. The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) and the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) are included in chief agencies that criticize drug-testing policy of the UFC. But which is the reason? Of course, they struggle for own interests. They try to control testing for banned preparations in all professional as well as amateur sport leagues in the whole world. It isn’t a secret that steroid testing is a business that is profitable. Since they haven’t tested fighters for prohibited preparations, they have lost much money.
But there are also certain real problems linked with the UFC drug-testing program that must be taken in consideration. The CEO of the WADA Travis Tygart announces that steroid testing of the UFC is not effective. Undoubtedly, the WADA has the best anti-doping policy. The UFC anti-doping policy can’t be even compared with that of the UFC. Tygart claims that the UFC tries to look better than they are in reality. The CEO of the WADA announces that it is quite ironically that the UFC defends own steroid testing program and doesn’t want to have the same or just similar principles as the WADA has.
Major League Baseball did an immense mistake, claiming that steroids represent a great problem in this sport. So, it was hurt good public impression about baseball. As for the National Football League, it was created impression that their drug-testing program has been quite effective.
A question appears: Does Dana White have ability to show that there is no steroid problem in the UFC?

A former official of Paw Paw Police Department was caught using steroids

Robert Kusmack, a former officer of Paw Paw Police Department, was caught possessing Fluoxymesterone (Halotestin) due to a Michigan steroid investigation. The targets of the investigation were officials of law enforcement and an owner of a gym. As a result, this police officer received probation of one year and was enforced to pay certain fine. So, Robert Kusmack was fired in 2010.
Investigations related to steroids are led generally in the following way: users of steroids are used to distributors of steroids. But sometimes authorities choose another method to conduct investigations.
United States Mail Inspection Service had found a package which contained 50 vials of HGH and was addressed to the steroid dealer Tom Radke. The West Michigan Enforcement Team (WMET) and the Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team (KVET) started the investigation which resulted in detection of the steroid dealer.
But the authorities made a decision not to prosecute Tom Radke but to use him as an informant. It was made a decision to catch police officers who administrate steroids with the help of the distributor of steroids. An owner of a local gym was involved in this process as well.
Tom Radke acted as an undercover informant in this investigation. He sold Fluoxymesterone to Aaron DiPrima who was the owner of a local gym. The gym owner supplied the police official Robert Kusmack with this preparation. Both the gym owner and Robert Kusmack were arrested.
The gym owner Aaron DiPrima pleaded guilty in possession of an analogue. He received one-year probation. He was also sentenced to 60 hours of community service. So, the distributor of steroids was not sentenced to prison. Three consumers of steroids lost their jobs.

Joe Papp criticizes Andrew Tilin

The amateur cyclist and writer Andrew Tilin was banned for 2 years. United States Anti-Doping Agency banned this person after he had admitted using steroids for legal hormone replacement therapy. The admitting was made by the rider in own book that will be soon probably published. The book is entitled following: “The Doper Next Door: My Strange and Scandalous Year on Performance-Enhancing Drugs” .
this book describes individual experiences of some persons that used medicines that have performance-enhancing effects.
Thus, Andrew Tilin administrated the steroid testosterone for hormone replacement therapy. It is quite clear. In fact, it is not yet clear whether this person has mentioned about personal experience linked with other medicines which enhance performance.
Andrew Tilin wants to understand and describe in his book why persons dope. He notes the motivations of various individuals. Do these medications help really? These products are quite controversial; the explanations connected with these drugs are controversial as well. Since many consumers don’t like saying about their administration, certain answers on questions about doping remain unopened.
Tilin has been evidentially changed due to administration of the steroid testosterone. He has become much more powerful but more aggressive. He had to worry about his health and about the ways to cheat, being an amateur rider. So, Tilin became to be implicated in the doping subculture.
Writing his book, Andrew Tilin desired to explain that steroids are unsafe and have numerous negative consequences. Many athletes that have taken controlled products criticize the author. One of critics is Joe Papp, a former American cyclist. This person was caught distributing and using several performance-enhancing drugs. He didn’t admit applying banned products willingly; he was caught due to an investigation. His professional and personal life was destroyed because of these prohibited preparations. Joe Papp wrote about Andrew Tilin that he had been doped for a year intentionally. Papp noticed that Tilin had known that the steroid testosterone was forbidden but he had used it. Then he wrote that these preparations caused adverse consequences in consumers. According to Joe Papp, Andrew Tilin had to be banned for four years.
Andrew Tilin’s ban began in March 2011.

Fighters use plastic surgeries for enhancement of performance

Sportspersons are always looking for any ways to increase their performance. Nobody may doubt about it. That’s why a lot of athletes administrate anabolic steroids or/and other products which have performance-enhancing effects. But there is another method as well. Mixed martial artists use even plastic surgery for this need.
It is known that mixed martial artists have facial lacerations. This is the nature of this sport. After mixed martial artists have experienced a cut, they become more inclined to following cuts. The scar tissue can develop; wounds are sutured in certain cases improperly. It may happen that surgeons suture only the superficial layer of the skin. It is not well because it results in improper healing of underlying tissue.
An interesting article about Frank Stile, a plastic surgeon was published by the writer Jake Rossen. This specialist makes operations for mix martial artists. The surgeon Frank Stile removes the scar tissue and replaces it with tissue from donated dead human bodies. Such procedures are often applied for cosmetic needs. Frank Stile is the first surgeon that has used this procedure for for enhancement of performance in mixed martial artists.
It is also necessary to notice that prominent facial bones in the nose, brow and cheek may make the fighters predisposed to lacerations. But it may be prevented as well. Surgeons can remove the sharp edges. It may help to avoid potential lacerations.
Since predispositions to cuts disturb fighters to achieve better results, several specialists confirm that it is possible to create a super-fighter with the help of plastic operation. Thus, these fighters will possess significant competitive advantages.
Earlier experts thought about this aspect too. It may prove the short story written by the science fiction author Richard Matheson. The work was created in 1956. The author described a future. It was written that fans watched how large robot athletes fought, trying to destruct one another’s CPUs.
When Richard Matheson was writing the story, he didn’t think that it would be provocative. Many persons wanted to see other athletes in reality. They desired the fighter to be other than human. That’s why many fans invested large sums of money, hoping to reach this result.
It is possible to suppose that cosmetic operation will soon achieve the level of the method of steroid use and intake of other performance-enhancing drugs.
Of course, numerous ethical questions appear in this case. But certain experts say that it is too late to discuss these questions. Human performance is already closely linked with technological advance. The corruption of sports has begun many years ago and it can’t be stopped, according to opinions of numerous specialists.
Anti-doping agencies have displayed that they are not able to war on steroids and other banned preparations successfully. Will anybody have ability to keep fighters from surgeries?
