British driver demonizes steroids for hitting another motorist in face

However it is not yet manifested scientifically whether “roid rage” is an undesirable result of steroids, these medicines are demonized for some criminal actions quite often.
Michael Barton, a man from Britain, hit a Ford Fiesta, while he was driving his Volkswagen Golf. The driver of Ford Fiesta was Paul Gard. Barton had passed Paul Gard. But then he had to pull back in front of Paul Gard, since another car was driving the other way. Paul Gard flashed him. So, he had to brake suddenly. Barton got maddened, stopped his car, broke the wing mirror of Paul Gard’s vehicle and hit the man in the face. Then Gard’s wife took her mobile and informed police. While she was calling, Barton left calmly.
Michael Barton, a 21-year-old man that has a son of two years old, administers steroids for bulking results. Thus, it has been said that these substances affected his behavior. The defense attorney for this young person affirmed that steroids had a negative impact on temperament of his client, since these medications enhanced his levels of testosterone.
Previously Barton was convicted for certain crimes, including domestic violence. Last year he pleaded guilty to an assault, criminal damage and driving carelessly because of his anger following assaults.
The judge Patrick Hooton affirmed that he was not sure that steroids were responsible for the case. But he noticed that it was totally mad to become furious and hit a person in the face only because he flashed him. The judge claimed that Barton’s behavior was very shameful and he said: “you ought to go to prison”.
Thus, this young person was sentenced to 6-month jail sentence suspended for a year; he was also sentenced to pay 500 dollars in compensation and ?277 for damage of the vehicle.

Bottles sent to Wim Vansevenant that were labeled as doping products were just amino acids

The case related to the former Belgian rider Wim Vansevenant altered surprisingly. An analysis demonstrated that the doping medicines that were ordered by him didn’t contain the contents listed on the labels. He was cheated by the company where he ordered the products.
Last year certain packages sent to the former Belgian rider by an Australian company were intercepted by customs officials. According to the labels of  the intercepted  bottles,  they contained the doping product TB-500. It represents a peptide hormone that has ability to increase muscle strength and promote healing. The Belgian authorities started an investigation. It was believed that Wim Vansevenant supplied the Omega Pharma-Lotto team with doping products. This sportsperson rode professionally 10 years, from 1998 to 2008. Last 6 years of his riding career he was working with this team.
An analysis of the bottles seized by customs manifested that only amino acids were contained. Wim Vansevenant’s lawyer confirmed that the charges had to be dropped. He explained that since the medicine was not related to doping, the former athlete didn’t deserve to be punished.
The prosecutor’s spokesperson Johan Lescrauwaet confirmed that the contents didn’t correspond to the name of the product which was indicated on the label and to the affirmations of the former athlete.
Just amino acids were discovered in the bottles. No any doping product. So, there is no any evidence that Wim Vansevenant provided doping preparations to other individuals.
The hearing of the former Belgian rider was scheduled to be later.

Physical appearance of Roger Clemens displays that he hasn’t taken steroids

It is known by each baseball fan that Roger Clemens is accused in obstruction of justice. It is believed that he has lied before Congress about administration of steroids and HGH.
Rusty Hardin noticed that Roger Clemens’ muscularity didn’t change greatly before, during and after his trainings with Brian McNamee. The attorney affirmed that this aspect proved that Roger Clemens hadn’t taken steroids and other related products.
Appearance of muscles is often used by federal prosecutors as proof that a sportsperson uses steroids or/and other related drugs. But this tendency was not utilized during the governmental case against Roger Clemens. Nobody could affirm that Roger Clemens’ muscles displayed that he had taken steroids and HGH. It is a difference between the cases against Roger Clemens and Barry Bonds.
As for the governmental case against Barry Bonds, feds called many individuals in the trial that could testify that anabolic steroids caused evidential changes in physique of this athlete. They claimed that application of steroids led to enhancement of muscle mass, enhanced size of the head and shrinkage of testicles in Barry Bonds.
So, the defense attorney Rusty Hardin provided four photos of Roger Clemens. The pictures displayed physical appearance of Roger Clemens, including the time when Clemens was working with the coach Brain McNamee. The attorney pointed out that the pictures showed that there were no changes in physical appearance that could support that he took steroids and HGH.
The attorney Rusty Hardin claimed that the photos displayed only the process of ageing. The masseur Cheryl Redfern noticed that she didn’t observe any changes in physique of Roger Clemens. Roger Clemens experienced neither back acne, nor abnormal development of breast tissue, nor dramatically enhanced muscle size.
The former Major League Baseball player Phil Garner also confirmed that there were not any essential changes in physical appearance and performance of Roger Clemens during working with Brian McNamee.
Steve Durham, the Assistant US Attorney tried to discredit the affirmation about lack of changes in Roger Clemens’ physical appearance during the cross-examination of the former baseball player Phil Garner. He confirmed that while several steroids increased muscle size, others didn’t induce getting muscles. Thus, he claimed that the photos could say nothing about steroid use.
Federal prosecutors want to take advantages in both cases: in the case against Roger Clemens and in that against Barry Bonds. While they claim that physical changes in Barry Bonds manifest that he has applied steroids, lack of physical changes in Roger Clemens doesn’t prove that he hasn’t applied steroids.

Sydney Morning Herald: motorcycle gangs play great role in smuggling of steroids

The newspaper “The Sydney Morning Herald” reports that outlaw motorcycle gangs are responsible for spread of illegal steroid use in Australia. The gangs have significant profit and reduced risks.
The detective Nick Bingham has noticed that New South Wales Police doesn’t focus on investigation linked with steroid use but anabolic steroids become targets of investigations, when police officers arrest motorcycle gangs for violation of other laws.
According to the detective Nick Bingham, although New South Wales police officers don’t raid houses of gangs for steroids, they find them, when searches for weapons and stimulants are conducted.
Nick Bingham has confirmed that they ordinarily seize such amounts of steroids from motorcycle gangs which are just for personal use. Amounts of other substances which are usually found in possession of gangs are much greater than those of steroids.
The detective Nick Bingham has confirmed that criminals prefer applying anabolic steroids in order to build threatening muscular physiques. They desire to look big and powerful.
Although Bingham assures that gangs possess steroids just for personal intake, the newspaper “The Sydney Morning Herald” doesn’t agree with this statement. It is reported that motorcycle gangs are implicated in smuggling of steroids.
Although gyms are claimed to be the main sources of steroids for bodybuilders, it is reported by “The Sydney Morning Herald” that several gyms have close links with motorcycle gangs. The Herald claims that numerous seizures made by the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service are related closely to distribution of steroids by motorcycle gangs.
According to statements of Australian Customs, mail seizures of steroids have been increased obviously in comparison with past years.
More than 2, 000 seizures were made in 2009-2010 and over 5, 000 seizures of steroids were recorded in 2010-2011.
Numerous seizures were related to personal usage of steroids smuggled by bodybuilders.

Andre Berto probably used contaminated dietary supplements

The professional boxer Andre Berto tested positive for Nandrolone. The drug testing was conducted by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Agency (VADA).
He had to meet Victor Ortiz on June 23, 2012 in Los Angeles. Andre Berto agreed to submit to random drug testing before the match. Both “A” and “B” urine samples indicated about application of Nandrolone.
It was already the second time this month, when the VADA tested fighters and caught them administering steroids. The first of them was the boxer Lamont Peterson. He had to meet Amir Khan. It is quite ironically that Peterson requested random blood and urine testing. The drug test conducted by the VADA manifested that Peterson had testosterone of exogenous origin some weeks before the fight.
Financial position of certain companies was affected due to tests conducted by the VADA. For example, Golden Boy Promotions lost great potential profit due to Lamont Peterson’s positives. It was defined by Richard Schaeffer, the CEO of Golden Boy Promotions, that the company lost 250, 000 dollars.
The cancelation of the fight between Andre Berto and Victor Ortiz will probably not cost so much because Andre Berto will be possibly replaced by another boxer who will fight against Ortiz.
As for the boxer Andre Berto, he didn’t explain why he tested positive. He hired the attorney Howard Jacobs that would represent and defeat him.
Berto claimed that he had never taken steroids. Thus, he claimed that he investigated with his attorney what could cause positives for steroids. Berto concluded that he had never cheated; he achieved success in sport due to hard trainings and dedication.
The attorney Howard Jacobs represented many other athletes who turned out to be victims of fake food supplements.
It is confirmed that since the steroid Nandrolone has too long half life and it is detected easily, it is not widespread among doping sportspersons. But it has been manifested many times that some nutritional supplements contained the compound nandrolone which caused positives for steroids. But since sometimes not every compound is written on the label, athletes become victims of contaminated dietary supplements.

Five policemen were shot by steroid user

Police officers came to Cullen Mutrie for a drug investigation. This ma shot 5 police officials at his home. As a result of the shootout, the Greenland Police Chief Michael Maloney  was killed; four police officers were seriously injured. The next morning Cullen Mutrie and a woman were found dead.
It is supposed that Mutrie was administering anabolic steroids at the time of the shootout. Jane Young, the New Hampshire Associate Attorney General, noted that toxicology reports were waiting in order to learn whether metabolites of steroids were in the body of this person.
Police reported that Cullen Mutrie had had very muscular appearance. He worked at Genetix Fitness in Seabrook. It was claimed that he was 6 feet 3 inches tall. Cullen Mutrie weighed 275 pounds. During a raid that took place in July 2010 police officers discovered anabolic steroids at his home. The policeman Wayne Young found them in a coffee table. He said that he had observed a plastic bag with several vials. A vial was with powder; others contained solution. The labels indicated that they were steroids.
The New Hampshire State Crime Lab analyzed the vials. It was reported that the vials contained Trenbolone Acetate, Sustanon 250, Boldenone Undecylenate and Nandrolone Decanoate.
The professor of kinesiology John Miller was asked whether a connection between the deadly actions and aggressiveness due to anabolic steroids could present. The professor noted that it was plausible. But according to him, it is impossible to confirm that there was a direct connection between intake of anabolic steroids and the crime.
John Miller suggested that steroids that were on the black market were provided from legitimate pharmaceutical companies. But he has been mistaken because the majority of steroids which are sold on the black market are produced in underground labs. It is even suggested that Mutrie produced steroids.
Since a connection between crimes and usage of steroids is a controversial question, not only police officials but also media investigates the case linked with this killer.

Jordan Matechuk: there have been some conditions linked with steroid use that are kept confidential

Jordan Matechuk, a Canadian football player was busted by the US Customs and Border Patrol (CBP). He was caught having more than 540 pills of oral steroids and more than 260 ml of injectable steroids, when he was returning to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats training camp. The football player affirmed that his depression was responsible for the decision to purchase and utilize anabolic steroids.
Matechuk noticed that he used anabolic steroids and marijuana in order to be capable to escape from his depression. Matechuk confirmed that earlier he had taken anti-depressant preparations. Discontinuing taking anti-depressant medicines probably led to application of steroids.
The football player mentioned that he experienced depression. He started to use steroids and marijuana in order to feel better. Jordan Matechuk acknowledged that he was responsible for this condition. He wouldn’t have discontinued taking anti-depressant preparations. But he stopped taking them. This factor led to intake of steroids.
Matechuk pleaded guilty to possession of steroids and marijuana.
Although he faced up to 2 years in jail, he was sentenced to 90 years in jail. But he was released after he served only 60 days.
Matechuk claimed that there were several other conditions but he decided to keep them out of public knowledge.
The Canadian Football League gave him the second chance to play football professionally.
He wrote a letter and sent it to each member of the team. Jordan Matechuk wrote about his shame for his arrest linked with possession and administration of steroids. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats didn’t desire to receive the consumer of steroids back to the team.
But the Winnipeg Blue Bombers decided to provide him the second chance. So, Matechuk was happily accepted by this team.

Did Mohammed Belkhair die because of steroid use?

Georgina Howarth, a pathologist, affirmed that the death of Mohammed Belkhair, a 19-year teenager, had been caused by intake of anabolic steroids. She noted that anabolic steroids had caused heart failure which had resulted in the death.
According to the doctor Howarth, if this guy had not utilized steroids, he would have been alive today. She confirmed that usage of steroids was the only reason of the death. Howarth added that the death of this guy was a lesson for each person to stay far from such drugs.
The sister of Mohammed Belkhair found him vomiting in his room on May, 2011. The boy acknowledged that he had taken steroids. He died at the same day. It was reported that steroids had been found in his system.
According to some articles, DHEA and Tamoxifen were 2 steroids that were found in the system of the teenager. DHEA is sold overall in Britain and in the USA.
But actually, the news is misleading. Tamoxifen is not included in anabolic steroids. This product has been initially elaborated to cure individuals that experience breast cancer. It has become popular among sportspeople and bodybuilders who utilize steroids because of its capacity to prevent aromatization of other drugs.
It seems to be strange but nothing was mentioned about arrest of Mohammed Belkhair. This condition might contribute in his death. This guy was arrested on the night before his death by police officials. 4 various anabolic steroids were found in the room of this person. But the names of the steroids were not mentioned.
Although the police encounter and arrest occurred certain hours before the death of Mohammed Belkhair, the pathologist Georgina Howarth didn’t investigate these factors. Furthermore, she didn’t provide any explanation about this condition. Police officers reported nothing as well.
Since it was reported that Mohammed Belkhair had purchased steroids via internet, the news related to dangers of purchasing steroids via internet were spread in the country. So, it turned out to be convenient for changing the laws in order to make ordering of steroids via internet criminal in Britain. The British government intends to make personal importation of steroids per mail and per internet illegal. It will be in near future. Although it is said that these laws will be enacted before the Olympics, they are not still enacted.

Dana White confirms that it is impossible to perform random drug testing in the UFC

The UFC President Dana White tries to defend UFC efforts against administration of prohibited preparations.  The UFC President says that the UFC fights seriously to push forbidden medications out of sports. He claims that they do more than any other sport organization for this need.
Unluckily, statements of Dana White are pronounced just for public relations purposes. They are totally false. The UFC doesn’t do more than any other sport organization, fighting against application of prohibited medications.
White believes that it is not possible to perform random drug testing in the UFC. He notes that they have 375 fighters under contract. The UFC President notices that it is impossible to perform random tests because these athletes live everywhere; they travel around the world. He finds it unreal to travel in various countries, seeking these 375 individuals, in order to test them continually.
While Dana White desires to convince others that it is not possible to test randomly 375 UFC guys, other sport organizations do it with their sportspersons. They perform random testing with success.
It isn’t completely clear what happens really. Does Dana White desire to mislead public about usage of banned medicines by the UFC sportspersons? Or is he ignorant totally, when it comes to the Code of the World Anti-Doping Agency?
The Chief Executive Officer of the US Anti-Doping Agency affirms that the UFC does everything in order to avoid following the laws of the WADA. They have own principles and struggle against the WADA rules. However the UFC affirms that they try to protect their sports from usage of banned medicines by the WADA Code, the reality displays that it is not true. The UFC rules are miserable in comparison with those of the WADA. Try to comprehend it!

Steroid investigation “Operacion Skype”

Mossos d’Esqudra and Spain’s Policia Nacional conducted a steroid investigation that led to arrest of ten individuals who were implicated in a steroid chain. These persons supplied top amateur and professional sportspeople and even Olympic athletes with anabolic steroids, HGH, EPO, CERA and other related medicines.  The investigation was named “Operacion Skype”. The steroid ring was located in Barcelona.
The investigation was initially linked with David Garcia Dapena, a professional cyclist, who tested positive for EPO after the 2010 Vuelta a Espana. It was reported that David Garcia Dapena had increased hematocrit levels that indicated about application of EPO.
Garcia didn’t deny intake of the banned medicine. He collaborated with the police officers. The cyclist acknowledged that he had purchased product with performance-enhancing effects from the health care provider Alberto Beltran Nino.
It was determined that Beltran had been the leader of an organization focused on sophisticated doping. This organization supplied cyclists and other sportspersons with forbidden products. It was also determined that some sportspeople who took part in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the 2010 Vuelta a Espana, the 2009 Tour du Portugal and the 2012 Spanish Athletics Championships belonged to the group of persons who got steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs from this doping organization.
It was even earlier suspected that Beltran supplied sportspersons with steroids and other doping substances and taught them how to avoid being caught. This doctor was arrested in Italy after he was caught driving his car that was full of steroids and other related medications.
The Portuguese professional cyclist Nuno Ribeiro accused the physician Beltran in injecting him with prohibited products after he tested positive for CERA in 2009.
The sprinter Jose Luis Blanco assisted in the steroid investigation that had been conducted against Beltran after this sportsperson tested positive for EPO at the 2012 Spanish Athletics Championships.
Beltran moved to Bahrain in 2009. Since that time the physician had no any direct contact with any sportsperson.
Nevertheless, the police believe that he has set up a team of intermediaries in various countries. They have purchased steroids and other related preparations and supplied top sportspeople with them.
Beltran was detained in Madrid in March 2012 by police. He was caught having AICAR and TB-500.
Although no any sportsperson has tested positive for these drugs, it is believed that some athletes have planned to administer these products.

Brian McNamee reports that coaches induce taking steroids by athletes

Brian McNamee says that coaches are the main persons who induce application of anabolic steroids. The convicted distributor of steroids confirms that trainers have the most significant influence on decisions of young athletes to administer banned preparations. Their influence is larger than one of street dealers that offer banned preparations for sales, trying to convince young persons that they may have great success due to application of these medicines. Brian McNamee supposes that trainers and the society teach young sportspersons that they should win at any cost. This aspect pressures students that are involved in sports. It leads to their decision to use steroids and other related products.
Brian McNamee was invited to share his opinion at the Nassau Counselors Association’s conference. He pronounced some comments  during a presentation which was called “Creating a Safe Environment for Our Student-Athletes”. He got an honorarium of 200 dollars. McNamee presented this sum of money to the Taylor Hooton Foundation.
McNamee is known better as a trainer that has injected Roger Clemens with anabolic steroids and HGH. It was noticed that he stored all syringes and vials that were applied for injecting Clemens with steroids during circa seven years. Brian McNamee supported accusations of federal prosecutors against Clemens.
The testimony of McNamee induced publishing the Mitchell Report on steroids in the Major League Baseball. The Report was worth of 20 million dollars. It was published in December 2007. Statements of Brian McNamee and Kirk Radomski were the base for publishing the report. They provided evidence related to usage of steroids in professional baseball. These persons were enforced to collaborate with investigators of the Mitchell Report. It was their agreement which was reached due to charges related to steroids.
The agreement also requires testimony of McNamee as a government witness in the trial of Roger Clemens. He couldn’t say details related to the case of Roger Clemens during the Nassau Counselors Association. But the time will come, when he tells the story about Clemens.
Although it was declared a mistrial in the 1st  trial connected with the case of Roger Clemens, it was scheduled a new trial.

Two users of steroids made the list of the most detested sportspersons of Seattle

A list of the most unloved athletes of Seattle was compiled by the Seattle post-intelligencer newspaper. Taking in consideration attitude to intake of steroids, it is astonishingly that only 2 users of steroids  made the list. Administration of steroids by these two persons was not the reason to enumerate them in the list of the most despised athletes of Seattle. Nonetheless, it must have influenced.
These 2 athletes from the list were “The Boz” Bosworth and Alex “A-Rod” Rodriquez.
It became clear that Bosworth was a user of steroids after Nandrolone metabolites had been discovered in his urine sample in 1986. Brian Bosworth was one of the other 20 football players who were caught applying banned substances in 1986. It led to Bosworth’s ban to play for Oklahoma Sooners in 1987.
Brian Bosworth claimed that he had applied Deca Durabolin that had been prescribed by his physician in order to receive recovery from an injury. This sportsperson claimed that it was the first time that he took steroids.
Bosworth got the 1985 and 1986 Butkus Award.
This football player came in connection with Seattle, when he got the Seahawks a 10-year contract. But his career was ended because of an injury. He retired from playing football professionally in 1989 after he had played 24 games for this team. His case was claimed to be one of the most essential busts in NFL history.
Another person that was named in the list of the most scorned sportspersons of Seattle was Alex Rodriquez. He received the nickname “A-Rod”. The nickname was given by a Seattle Mariners’ player. Alex Rodriquez had a huge success in Seattle. This person came to the Seattle Mariners right after High School at the age of 17. Everybody was impressed by his skills. Alex Rodriquez played for the Calgary Cannons and the Tacoma Rainiers. Alex Rodriquez continued to succeed but he left Seattle due to desire to obtain more money. It made him the most hated athlete of Seattle. He got a contract of the Texas Rangers in 2000. It was the most profitable contract which had ever been obtained in sports history.
The news which was pronounced in February 2009 shocked everyone.  It was reported that Alex Rodriquez tested positive for the anabolic steroids Testosterone and Primobolan during a testing in the MLB.
The writer Roberts noted in her book related to Alex Rodriquez that he had applied steroids in high school to bulk up.
Alex Rodriquez acknowledged that he had utilized anabolic steroids but he noted that he had utilized them only from 2001 to 2003.
Actually, there were certain other reasons which resulted in the fact that Alex Rodriquez and Brian Bosworth were included in the list of the most unloved sportspersons of Seattle. But their connections with steroids gave possibility to blame these persons again.

The MLB wants to nip doping in the bud

The Major League Baseball put efforts to prevent usage of steroids. It desires to nip doping in the bud. Then it will be capable to achieve the big show. One of the locations where the efforts of the MLB are applied and clearly seen is the Dominican Republic.
Those that live in the Dominican Republic desire to play professional baseball in the U. S. This is not only a dream. This desire becomes real. Thus, the whole family changes the location where the family lives. Unfortunately, many persons are lured to administrate steroids and other related drugs which increase performance to reach their goal.
The Dominican Republic is a country in which numerous individuals take steroids and other medicines that promote performance. That’s why a sportsperson from this location is asked whether he has applied steroids or other related medications. Undoubtedly, this person claims that he has never doped because tests are performed and everybody is afraid to be caught using any controlled substance.
The MLB subjects to tests athletes from the Dominican Republic. Thus, one year 13 persons out of 40 tested amateur sportspersons from this location tested positive. The MLB plans to tests Dominicans and to punish those that dope.
It is reported that the number of Dominicans that are sent to the MLB is essentially higher than the number of players that are sent from all countries of the Latin America.
The MLB tries to push steroids out of baseball. Amateur players are taught about dangers for their health associated with steroids. They are educated about undesirable results that can be provoked by steroids.
The financial position of the Dominican Republic is a significant problem in this case. The average wage is about 8, 5000 dollars per year there. To receive a signing bonus of 180, 000 dollars is a true achievement for any player from this Republic. That’s why athletes from the Dominican Republic are especially lured to dope for such perspectives. They want to get a contract for playing professional baseball in the MLB. They try to get it for well-being of their families and for improvement quality of life in future. Getting a contract means moving from a rented small house to a private home, from poverty to normal life, from travelling by bus to driving own car.
In fact, usage of steroids is not a problem only in the Dominican Republic. It is a problem which destroys the whole world. No one sportsperson may be sure whether he competes against an individual who has natural skills and talents or against a person that takes steroids and other related preparations. That’s why it is important to nip administration of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs in the bud.
Youth should be taught about risks connected with doping not only in the Dominican Republic or only in the U. S. but everywhere.

It was believed that Lance Armstrong established a doping program

The case against Lance Armstrong related to doping is proclaimed to be closed. This person remains to be considered a champion that won at the Tour de France 7 times.
It is known that federal prosecutors put efforts to determine whether this cyclist and his teammates have participated in a doping program. The investigation has lasted approximately 2 years.
Lance Armstrong denied that he has administrated banned medicines. The accusations against Lance Armstrong threatened not only to his athletic career but also to his Foundation of cancer research and support. The efforts to prove that this athlete administrated steroids were in vain.
Lance Armstrong noted that he had heard that the US Attorney’s Office made a decision to close the investigation. He confirmed that it was a right decision. Armstrong added that he was waiting to continue his usual life, being a father, a competitor and an advocate in the fight against cancer.
The attorney Andre Birotte proclaimed during a press conference that the US Attorney’s Office closed the investigation related to the case of Lance Armstrong. This person didn’t mention about any reason of this decision. But he indicated that come previous similar investigations were also closed.
For example, the case linked with Barry Bonds was claimed to be less-than-successful. Prosecutors were not able to prove that this sportsperson had cheated about usage of steroids. As for the case linked with Roger Clemens, the trial was indicated for another time because the judge announced about previous mistrial.
Investigators thought that a doping program was established by Armstrong’s team. They wanted to define whether it was so as they thought. Authorities investigated whether Lance Armstrong encouraged or promoted doping.
In fact, prosecutors put efforts to determine whether Armstrong and his team broke federal conspiracy and fraud charges. While Barry Bonds testified before a federal grand jury and Clemens testified before Congress, Armstrong was not forced to present before a grand jury. Barry Bonds and Clemens were accused in lying under oath.
The former Armstrong’s teammate Frank and her wife Betsy Andreu charged Armstrong with intake of performance-enhancing drugs. They confirmed that they were shocked by the decision to close the investigation. They concluded that such situations happened due to power of money.

Ryan Braun decided to fight against the results of his test

Although Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers faces a suspension for usage of anabolic steroids, he accepted his Most Valuable Player Award at the dinner of Baseball Writers Association. This player didn’t acknowledge to intake of prohibited medicines. He said that he had become a victim of a false positive. Ryan Braun fights against the results that have been proclaimed.
Altough it has been lately discussed whether steroid users have right to be voted for Baseball’s Hall of Fame, they don’t lose their Most Valuable Player awards. Even admitted steroid users don’t forfeit their MVP awards.
Jack O’Connell proclaimed that Ryan Braun would be permitted to keep the MVP awards. Earlier other consumers of steroids were permitted also to keep their MVP awards. For example, Ken Caminity kept his 1996 MVP award; Alex Rodriquez kept his 2003 MVP award. Both these athletes acknowledged that they had administrated steroids.
According to testosterone: epitestosterone (T: E) ratio, Braun had increased level of testosterone in October 2011. The T: E ratio has manifested about exogenous type of testosterone. Actually, this test can’t show real quantity of used testosterone.
Another method of testing was used by the World Anti-Doping Agency accredited lab in Montreal to confirm the analysis of the T: E ratio testing. It was applied carbon isotope ratio testing that indicated about existence of exogenous testosterone.
A lot of sportswriters considered that Ryan Braun should have left his MVP awards due to the positives for prohibited medications. But this person made another decision. Ryan Braun decided to accept the awards and address with the speech about false accusations in usage of steroids. This player noted that characters of individuals are revealed in such situations of adversary. This baseball player confirmed that he had a great respect to baseball. This player added that he made a lot for his career in this sport but he had done everything with respect and appreciation towards baseball.
It was said that Ryan Braun had been one of the youngest players of the Major League Baseball that didn’t need to use steroids to be able to play. When this person found out about positive of Alex Rodriquez for steroids, he was very surprised. He noted that Alex Rodriquez should have been enough honest to say about intake of forbidden medications.
Ryan Braun decided to fight against the results of his tests, claiming that unusual circumstances surrounded this case. He said that he would display his innocence and false positives.

King Mo Lawal is suspended

Quinton Rampage Jackson and King Mo Lawal don’t have good relations. They didn’t manifest their dislike to each other for certain years. During an interview Lawal said about their relationships, mentioning that he doesn’t have good opinion about Rampage Jackson that also doesn’t like him.
That’s why it is not surprisingly at all that Rampage Jackson expressed his thoughts about the fact related to Lawal’s positive for drostanolone (Masterone).
Jackson said that it was quite evident that King Mo Lawal had administrated steroids. He pointed out that Lawal wasn’t a true fighter. He took steroids to have ability to fight.
Rampage Jackson said that there were fighters that were permitted to take steroids. He referred to those who had to take steroids for testosterone replacement therapy. This fighter said that it was an essential difference between purposes. Fighters and other athletes are permitted to take steroids for TRT and not for enhancement of performance, according to this mixed martial artist.
This fighter says that there are individuals who experience certain health troubles. They talk to their physicians who prescribe steroids. They use these products to to escape from their diseases and to stay competitive. But he adds that there are fighters that administrate steroids to enhance their performance. It is quite sadly, according to this person.
Nevertheless, administration of steroids for hormone replacement therapy by sportspersons is a quite controversial question.
Such fighters, as Dennis Hallman, Chael Sonnen, Nate Marquardt and Dan Henderson acknowledged that they had used steroids because of hypogonadism.
So, Rampage Jackson is a fighter who confirmed about permission to administrate steroids as a part of TRT by athletes. But there are other fighters who do not agree with this opinion. A lot of athletes have the same point of view as Michael Bisping has. They think that steroid use is just justified by medical conditions. They believe that all fighters who apply anabolic steroids, noting that they are on TRT, are cheaters.
Lawal confirms that he is not guilty, claiming that his manager has heard nothing about the steroid Masterone. Both Lawal and his manager claim that they are actually surprised by the results of the test.
A fight between Jackson and Lawal was waiting by many fans. There were several rumors that they would fight in February, 2012. But the hopes of fans were not justified. Lawal should serve a ban.

Tom Verducci gives explanations about his vote for an admitted steroid user

Tom Verducci of Sports Illustrated says about debates related to rughts of steroid users to be voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. But as it commonly happens, this explanation shows just confusion of writers about steroids.
The Baseball Writers Association of America (BWAA) is a professional association of baseball reporters who chose players for the National Baseball Hall of Fame. All reporters that are members of the BWAA already not less than 10 years have opportunity to vote for up to 10 players for the Hall of Fame.
Recently it was a debate between members of the BWAA. They discussed whether admitted or just suspected consumers of steroids and other forbidden preparations might entry into Cooperstown.
Members of the BWAA usually must comment their votes: they should explain why they have voted pro or contra certain questions. Some of them claim that doping destroys the integrity of sports and usage of banned products is frequently claimed by them to be immoral.
As for Tom Verducci, he doesn’t think that usage of steroids is necessarily a moral question. This writer says that steroids help consumers to take unfair advantage over those who don’t administrate prohibited medications. According to this writer, performance-enhancing drugs make competitions unfair. Thus, intake of banned medicines promotes unfairness in sports. That’s why Verducci denies any link between doping and morality. This sportswriter claims that it is a question that is linked with performance but not to morality. So, Verducci suggests that steroid users should not be allowed to be in the Hall of Fame. But he has voted for the admitted steroid user Jeff Bagwell. This sportsperson has acknowledged that he had taken androstenedione. It is necessary to note that this medication was not classified as an anabolic steroid, when Bagwell used it. According to the Control Act 2004, it is enumerated among forbidden products. Since it wasn’t legally considered to be a steroid, Verducci decided to vote for the consumer of this medication; however, it was always claimed to be an anabolic-androgenic steroid by scientists. Furthermore, it was said that Bagwell just became bigger but didn’t induce his performance due to intake of androstenedione.
Nevertheless, the decision of Verducci to vote for the admitted consumer of the steroid is quite controversial. The following question appears: “Maybe Verducci is not against usage of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs by sportspersons?” Since Verducci doesn’t agree that doping is a moral question, he may suggest that increase of performance is not a real problem.
Numerous people suppose that intake of steroids represents evil because they are illegal.

Jeffrey George tried to take advantages of lax Florida laws that allow to sell legally prescribed steroids

Jeffrey George is the owner of a former famous clinic connected with hormone replacement therapy. The clinic was called “South Beach Rejuvenation”. Jeffrew George was indicted on charges of illegal distribution of anabolic steroids. As it was reported by investigators, he started tosell controlled substances through his clinic illegally. But in fact he participated in illegal activity of pain clinics located in Florida. The owner of “South Beach Rejuvenation” distributed steroids per internet.
George and his twin brother Chris were leaders of a pain clinic activity. They got 40 million dollars due to illegal sales of oxycodone and other analgesics during 2 years. This resulted in their several charges. Jeffrey George faced also a charge of a murder because a customer had died due to overdosing.
Jeffrey George hid his illegal activity through his clinic “South Beach Rejuvenation”. Anabolic steroids were advertising on the internet and in different magazines linked with fitness as a part of treatment conducted by the clinic.
It was not the first arrest of George connected with steroids. He was accused in possession of anabolic steroids , intending to sell them in 2003. This person was imprisoned to 8 months. Later he was involved in illegal sales of anabolic steroids, trying to bypass Florida’s laws which allowed clinics to prescribe and sell steroids legally. This man didn’t have any medical education. But he established the clinic “South Beach Rejuvenation” and employed certain physicians who prescribed steroids without any fear. One of his employees was Daniel Hauser. He got 5, 000 dollars weekly for prescriptions of steroids for George’s clinic.
Since steroids were sold over internet and clients lived far from the clinic, they had to perform several tests in clinics which were located near to them. Then they filled results of lab tests in the certain blanks and sent to the “South Beach Rejuvenation” per internet. Hauser wrote them prescriptions.
Numerous sales consultants of the clinic took anabolic steroids too. Moreover, they bought large amounts of steroids with prescriptions and sold them on the side. The sales consultants also recommended their clients how to take and stack steroids to reach better results in bodybuilding and sports.
Chris, George’s brother, helped his friend, Chris Hutson, financially to establish a clinic to distribute steroids. Thus, “LA Health and Rejuvenation” was established.
Cynthia Cadet and Robert Meek were two physicians that were hired by Hutson to prescribe anabolic steroids. They received 1, 000 dollars per week.
The persons who opened two clinics mentioned above and doctors hired by them were charged with illegal distribution of anabolic steroids and prescriptions per internet.
