Jeffrey George tried to take advantages of lax Florida laws that allow to sell legally prescribed steroids

Jeffrey George is the owner of a former famous clinic connected with hormone replacement therapy. The clinic was called “South Beach Rejuvenation”. Jeffrew George was indicted on charges of illegal distribution of anabolic steroids. As it was reported by investigators, he started tosell controlled substances through his clinic illegally. George and his twin brother Chris were leaders of a pain clinic activity. They got 40 million dollars due to illegal sales of oxycodone and other analgesics during 2 years. This resulted in their several charges. Jeffrey George faced also a charge of a murder because a customer had died due to overdosing.
Jeffrey George hid his illegal activity through his clinic “South Beach Rejuvenation”. Anabolic steroids were advertising on the internet and in different magazines linked with fitness as a part of treatment conducted by the clinic.

But he established the clinic “South Beach Rejuvenation” and employed certain physicians who prescribed steroids without any fear. One of his employees was Daniel Hauser. He got 5, 000 dollars weekly for prescriptions of steroids for George’s clinic.
Since steroids were sold over internet and clients lived far from the clinic, they had to perform several tests in clinics which were located near to them. Then they filled results of lab tests in the certain blanks and sent to the “South Beach Rejuvenation” per internet. Hauser wrote them prescriptions.
Numerous sales consultants of the clinic took anabolic steroids too. Moreover, they bought large amounts of steroids with prescriptions and sold them on the side. The sales consultants also recommended their clients how to take and stack steroids to reach better results in bodybuilding and sports.
Chris, George’s brother, helped his friend, Chris Hutson, financially to establish a clinic to distribute steroids. Thus, “LA Health and Rejuvenation” was established.
Cynthia Cadet and Robert Meek were two physicians that were hired by Hutson to prescribe anabolic steroids. They received 1, 000 dollars per week.
The persons who opened two clinics mentioned above and doctors hired by them were charged with illegal distribution of anabolic steroids and prescriptions per internet.
